Storm Drain Art Interested Sponsors
The Storm Drain Art Project is looking for local sponsors for both the Elkhart and the Goshen projects. Sponsors would be asked to provide a monetary "gift" to a volunteer artist in the amount of $150 at the unveiling event in late May or early June of 2019.
Sponsors contributing $150 to the project will receive recognition on the City’s Facebook page, on stormdrainart.org website, on the “unveiling” date event press release, recognized at the event, and have their logo or name printed on the brochure and map that will be distributed at the event and electronically thereafter to publicize the art to residents and visitors.
Sponsors and artists should understand that the finished works of art will be on functioning storm drains, sidewalks, and roadways that may need repair. They could become targets for vandalism. Sponsors and artists must accept the risk that the artwork may become damaged, altered, or removed at any time after completion for cause determined by the City per the artist’s agreement. Note: Every effort is being made to protect and seal the art so that it will last multiple years.

All sponsors must submit a sign agreement by January 31, 2019 to participate. The first sponsors to submit their signed agreement will be selected to participate. Sponsors will be asked to provide a logo in JPEG format.
